Geraldine Tuck is a retired elementary school teacher, known for her Marauder Mystery Series for readers 8-14. She particularly enjoys reading about the 1930s, an ideal background for Dan and Becky to stumble into and solve one mystery after the other. The series of 4 books take place on the South Shore during the 1930’s dealing with rum running, gold mining, the Oak Island Mystery and the Halifax Explosion mixing fact with fiction, bringing local history to life.

Geraldine Tuck is a member of the Federation of Nova Scotia Writers’ group, She also active in the Writers in the Schools (WITS) program. Local authors visit schools for a half and full day to promote reading and writing to students through book readings, character role playing and games.
